Andy Stern is stepping down

What great news the head of the corrupt union SEIU is stepping down! Glad to see you go Andy!

U.S. Federal Court Judge Barbara Crabb states that the "National Day of Prayer" is Unconstitutional.

Once again we have a Federal Judge who should now what the first amendment in the Bill of Rights says but she does not care or maybe she can't read. It reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Barbara Crabb has decided that the "National Day of Prayer is going against the Constitution. No one is saying we are going to make everyone pray on that day. We are simply setting aside a day for those would like to express there "free exercise" of praying can do so. I am sure that this descision will be overturned on appeal but in the meantime she should brush up on what the "First Amendment says.

A case for a third party.

Stevens retiring from Supreme Court

Leader of Supreme Court's liberal bloc says he is stepping down, giving President Obama a new chance to shape the court. I'm sad to see that Justice Stevens is retiring but I'm so happy that he did it during Obama's watch.

Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann

Tired of Republican, Fox and Rush Misinformation, here is the truth!

Joel Naroff, the president of Naroff Economic Advisors, wrote in a note to clients that “the federal government didn’t hire nearly as many Census workers as thought. It was the private sector that stepped up to the plate.” In fact, the Census Bureau hired only 48,000 workers. Look at this chart using Bureau of Labor Statistics data that illustrates the job gains:

Unemployment NumbersUnemployment Numbers

This chart makes it clear that what the Obama administration did and is doing is working.

Now for those who say that the cost of this recover is too much and we should cut taxes for the rich again, like that worked so well for Bush, look what is contributing to our deficit. The largest contributor to our deficit is the Bush Tax cut, followed by the downturn in the economy created by the Bush administration, next comes the unfunded wars. Now look closely at the two smallest contributors to the deficit, the TARP, Fannie, Freddie and the Stimulus which was needed to reverse the free fall of our economy. In other words, 95% is on Bush and 5% is on Obama.

What created the deficitWhat created the deficit

This clearly shows that under the Bush administration, while they were creating the largest deficit in our history, by giving tax breaks to the wealthy, by not paying for two wars, and by an unfunded Bush-era expansion of Medicare.

Now for the truth about the historic health care bill. It will not be a job killer and it will not require IRS to hire thousands to enforce it. In fact the number of republican lies being told are so numerous I will need to address this issue in a new post later this week. Let me say this, the bill has some problems and will need some fixes, the insurance companies are already trying to find ways around it and will start to increase rates and eliminate coverage as best they can, because that is what private for profit companies do, especially when they lack real competition. Congress will need to take further action and if they get to aggressive we may have a public option.

Supreme Court does the right thing

The Supreme Court did the right thing when they ruled that "In God We Trust" and "One Nation under God" would remain and that the man bringing this suit had no standing in bringing this suit and that the matter was closed. Way to go! God has won a victory!

Biden drops the "F****Bomb"

Joe biden should try to clean up his language or remember that the micophones are on. This is par for the course when it comes to Joe. Whenever he opens his mouth people wait for the next stupid remark he is going to make, and most of the time he does not disappoint. We need to send the nun from the Blues Brothers to take care of him the next time he uses that type of language.

"Joe go wash out your mouth with soap".

Acorn is finshed

Maud and Wade and Dale can all begin looking for new jobs come April 1st. We can start having free and fair elections again and not worry about people being regestered to vote numerous times. We do not all live in Chicago where the motto in the sixties was "Vote early and vote often".

Now conservatives need to turn our attention to getting rid of SEIU thugs who beat up innocent people and get rid of cardcheck. Then the elections will really be fair. SEIU does not need to be in the White House.
