It does my heart good when I heard yesterday that Obama is thinking about rasing taxes on the middle class. This is page out of Bush 41s playbook. Maybe now the American people will wake up and send a message that you can not lie to us and get away with it. Remember Bush 41 "read my lips, no new taxes." remember this in November of 2012.

Shelby has put holds on more than 70 of Obama's nominees over his parochial concerns. Shelby wants changes in the bidding process for the Pentagon’s air-to-air refueling tanker, which could lead to jobs in his state, and he wants an FBI counterterrorism lab to be built in Alabama.

So for our benifit he puts holds on the entire proccess of governing, and says:

"The process goes on every day," Shelby told POLITICO. "There are other appointments. We'll see what they do."

VOTE HIM OUT. We need politicians to act for the benifit of us all. Blackmail is not a function of the Senate.

Senator Judd Gregg is my idea of a republican that wants to make things happen for our country. He is willing to work across the isle to reform health care. Thank you Senator Gregg and good luck.

Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, our Judiciary Committee's top Republican, said Holder's statistic are "unsubstantiated" and asked him to back it up. Jeff Sessions said: "If this figure is valid, why is the attorney general not willing to explain it?"

Maybe the Senator should check the facts before he accuses the Obama Administration of fabricating the number of terrorist convicted in our civilian court system and not a military tribunal.

2009 Justice Department budget proposal that the Bush administration sent to Congress in 2008: "Since 2001, the Department has increased its capacity to investigate terrorism and has identified, disrupted, and dismantled terrorist cells operating in the United States. These efforts have resulted in the securing of 319 convictions or guilty pleas in terrorism or terrorism-related cases arising from investigations conducted primarily after September 11, 2001, and zero terrorist attacks on American soil by foreign nationals from 2003 through 2007."

Only three of these were prosecuted in a military tribunal the rest were in our civilian court system.

Please stop accusing and start working together to get things done. We need term limits on these guys. Until our politicians know they have a short window to do their job, they will only focus on getting reelected. We need our politicians to come together and pass what they can agree on:

1. Strip the health insurance industry of its antitrust exemption.
2. Regulate Banking, Insurance and Wall Street so they do not bring us to the brink of economic collapse again.
3. Focus on creating Jobs.

Vote against all incumbents later this year and every election until we get more statesmen and less politicians in office. In fact lets have a two term limit on Congress as we have on the Presidency. I prefer one but we can try two and see how it goes. The longer they stay the more they play with the truth and our money. This may slow special interest groups a little. Politics should not be a career opportunity. It should be a duty. Last but not least; put more successful business
people in office and less lawyers. By the way, decriminalize marijuana and change
to a "flat" or "fair" tax.

Teabaggers, Tea Party, or Tea Movement. Her audience seems to care little about facts and more about ideology. They care little about finding a solution and more about attacking. With this audiance she does not have to answer any questions, unless they have been screened and given to her in advance. She has time to formulate a response and not get caught with a gotcha question like "what do you read". Even then, she needs to refer to notes written on her hand.

How easy it is to forget what we cherish and the terrorists hate. Liberty, Freedom, Democracy, Capitalism ... ALL depend on the rule of law. How quick we are to throw out the very principles we stand for when fear visits our homeland. These fanatics need to come out of the shadows and the searing white light of justice should be trained on them... so that not only us, but others around the world can see again what it means when freedom rings...

Praise Florida's Governor, chain gang Charlie. He has refused to let any more Haitians into Florida hospitals. He wants to spread the wealth around to the other 49 states. They have already brought in third world viruses and long forgotten diseases to our hospitals. Why do we bring nay of them in? Send aid there and cut the corruption!

During times when Florida’s economy and housing market are still in crisis, the end of the shuttle program will further devastate our state. In addition to the approximately 7,000 jobs that will be lost as a direct result of the ending of our shuttle program, area businesses near the Kennedy Space Center will fail. It is the small businesses I am most concerned about. The owner of the diner won’t get a severance package, like NASA’s employees will. Our current administration should reconsider. I would prefer an extended space program to a high speed rail from Tampa to Orlando any day.
